
Manufacturing Machine Operator (2nd Shift)
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the set-up, operation, maintenance and cleaning of machines and related equipment to ensure machines produce high quality products, run smoothly and perform at capacity. Additional responsibilities include proper documentation of activities, including batch records and inventory reconciliation. This position will support second shift operations once fully trained. Hours upon hire will be first shift until fully trained.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Set up machinery for
operation.

Start machinery and adjust
machinery when necessary to improve performance with the batch record limits.
=
Troubleshoot issues and
perform routine maintenance.
=
Clean machinery and related
equipment.
=
Document all activities,
including batch records and inventory reconciliation.
=
Comply with all safety and
health regulations.
=
Maintain a clean, safe and
orderly work area.
=
Performs other related duties
as assigned by supervisor.
Education
and Experience:
=
High school diploma or
equivalent required.
=
At least one year of related
experience required, preferably in a pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment.
Required
Skills/Abilities:
=
Ability to follow directions
and work well independently and in a team environment.
=
Good verbal and written
communications skills.
=
Prior experience with, or the
ability to quickly learn, production equipment.
=
Understanding of and the ability
to abide by applicable safety requirements.
Physical Requirements:
= Prolonged periods
working on feet, using tools, climbing ladders and performing repetitive
actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
=
Must be able to lift,
push or pull up to 25 pounds at a time.
=
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
